photography challenge: day 23

sunflare

This is possibly one of my favorite photos I've taken. It was a few weeks ago when I was on my way to an early morning shoot. The mist was rising over the fields near my home at sunrise.

Photography Challenge : day 20

Bokeh.

(In case you're wondering what that means... it's the creamy smooth background part of the image, when the lens is set to an extremely large aperture, or shallow depth of field.)

Photography Challenge: day 12

sunset
I took this last Spring behind my house. After it had rained all day the sun came out just long enough to give us a lovely colorful sky before dipping behind the trees.

Photography Challenge: day 10

Childhood Memory

Every single day, for the first 20 years of my life I watched my mom make our meals in these pans. They have since been retired, but new stainless steel just can't compete with the sturdy design and lovely yellow enamel on these bad boys. I bet they'll outlive us all. (They were a wedding gift to my parents in 1973.)

Photography Challenge: day 9

someone you love

Well, isn't it obvious? My boys! Of course, I love my husband and my family too. But frankly, these 2 are helpless against my snap-happiness in their direction so photos of them are a'plenty. :)

Photography Challenge: day 8

a bad habit

See those ragged, bitten, unkempt finger nails? Yep. That's my bad habit. That, and eating ice cream late at night, road-rage (just kidding, sort of), and leaving baskets of clean laundry at the foot of my bed.

Photography Challenge - day 6

from a low angle

This picture of Zeke makes me laugh because of the glob of drool that's about to land on my face below him! :) Ah, motherhood!

Photography Challenge - day 5

something from a high angle

My sweet little buddy playing in leaves on a glorious warm fall day. Yes, that stick went directly into his mouth.

Photography Challenge: day 4

something green

I live in a wooded area. Moss grows here on anything wooden. This is the top of my neighbor's mailbox.

Ok, so I took this a few months ago when the weather was hot and the pool was beckoning. But wouldn't we all love to remember that time? I do!

Photo Challenge: Day 28

Day 28 - A picture of something you're afraid of

As ridiculous as it sounds, I'm totally freaked out by teeth. I hate the thought of my children ever having loose teeth. Or heaven forbid that I would have to help them pull one! I have nightmares on a very regular basis that my teeth crumble in my mouth like sand and all fall out. I'm sure there is some deep-seeded traumatic reason for this, but I'm just not willing to give it that much thought. Even typing this paragraph gives me the heebie-jeebies!
