Yesterday morning my Grandpa Jost had a "mini" stroke.
Pretty frightening stuff. But thankfully the doctors say there was no major damage to his brain. He's still in ICU being watched closely. Which is a good thing, because today his heart stopped for 8 seconds. He was awake when it happened and had no idea. But the monitors he was hooked up to indicated it. They don't seem to have an explanation for this. He will have a pacemaker put in on Wednesday.
Needless to say, we did not have that picnic yesterday afternoon.

My goodness girl you and your family have certainly gone through some peaks and valleys. I hope your Grandpa makes a full recovery... They are so special.
Sarah I’m so sorry to hear about your Grandpa, everything will work out just fine, he’s very lucky that there was not damage.
