Happy Easter pictures

My little guy looked so BIG in his Easter clothes.

Annie and Elijah -- I'm sure they will be great friends! :)

I am so proud of my little guy. Here are some of the new things he's doing these days.
  • can now sit up unassisted for several minutes. He doesn't have the best posture, but he's upright, and that's what counts.
  • can stand assisted for over a minute without wobbling.
  • babbles pretty much constantly. For example;
  • "daa.daa.baa.baahhhh.da.ba.caa.caa.caahhh.ggggg"
  • can hold the bottle and get it in his mouth. (Manny discovered this since I have never given him a bottle.)
  • can push the buttons on his toys to make them squeak and spin, etc.
  • responds to signs for "eat", "bath", and "momma".
  • responds to and pets Annie.
  • still HATES green beans. spits them out and makes terrible faces when I offer them.
  • still LOVES peaches, plums, carrots, apples, bananas, and sweet potatoes.
  • "sings" with me in his own sweet baby way.
  • really enjoys his "1,2,3, Count With Me" book from Great-Aunt Mari
  • has a ball in the bathtub, but hates getting out.
  • wears mostly 6 or 9 month clothes, but some of his shirts are size 12 month!!
  • now has 4 teeth - 2 on top and 2 on bottom
  • sleeps about 9 - 10 hours at night

I'm sure there are more exciting things to talk about, but I'm working and have to get busy.
We have a new girl in our unit now, Deanna. Actually she's not new, just back from doing other things. I'm so relieved we have more help now. Maybe things will settle down and some of this stress will go away.
Still nothing "official" from the buyers of our Evansville house about signing the release on the property. So until they do that we cannot list it again or get the earnest money back (which we need badly). As always, we need major prayer to get through this situation.

Easter was pretty uneventful. We went to church (again at Southside Bible). We like it there. Then came home and just had family time the rest of the day. It was nice. But I missed having the big get-together like we normally do down in Evansville. Oh, the joys of living far from "home".
