5 Months Old!

So, Elijah is 5 months old today. And he's really doing big things...
- He is SO close to rolling over. He's going to get it any day now.
- He cut his first tooth yesterday (a bottom one). It just popped out after church, much to our surprise. He wasn't fussy, feverish, or extra drooly or anything. He's such a good boy.
- He's sitting up assisted for long periods of time. Sometimes he can even sit up unassisted.
- He can grasp things with his hands at will now. They mostly go straight into his mouth.
- He chews on EVERYTHING.
- He "talks" to us all the time, using all kinds of new sounds (like G and C and A and E sounds). He's smart!
- He lays on his tummy and holds his upper body up for a good long time without fussing or needing to rest.
- He's adjusting very well to the new 3 and 1/2 hour eating/sleeping/wake time schedule.
- Still sleeping all night. (I love that)
- He loves his duck "Waddles", his puppy blanket with the feet, and the bright blue monkey rattle.
- He has a ball watching his baby praise videos, and loves to bounce his seat to the rhythm and "sing" along. We're sure he will be musically inclined.
- He giggles at me when I make silly faces and noises and do the phonics sounds with him.
- He's starting to get more and more interested in Annie. (our dog)
- And he loves his daddy. :)
I'm not sure how much he weighs or how long he is now. He doesn't go back to the doctor until February 7th.
