12 days from now

Do you remember when you were in elementary school and you had something exciting you needed to countdown for? Like the number of days until Christmas? Or until the last day of school? And do you remember how you would cut up strips of construction paper and made a chain of rings, one ring for each day? And you would then remove one ring per day until the countdown was complete?

Well, I do. And since the BIGGEST ANTICIPATED EVENT of our lives is upon us, Elijah and I decided to make just such a paper chain. Today there are 12 rings on it.
