My cousin Ashley finally married Kyle yesterday. (After 10 years!!) The wedding was in a gorgeous traditional Catholic church in Haubstadt - St. James - where the "old" Josts and Wolfs are buried. I saw some of the gravestones for the first time yesterday. took a few photos too. It was kind of neat. Also Ashley looked beautiful in her white and "old gold" (yes, for Purdue) gown. :) Elijah wore real shoes for the first time to the wedding. Grandma-Great bought him the cutest pair of brown suede ones at Target special for the occasion. He was the cat's meow! Just ask anyone.
Elijah and I are still trying to kick these nasty colds. It's been more than a week, which is unusual for us. Mine has settled into my chest in the form of a painful cough. His is more in his sinuses. I'm glad for that, because chest coughs in little ones are so hard.
My cousin Amy gave us a Little Tyke play gym for E. (The kind with a slide and places to climb up and around) He thinks he's such big stuff playing on it! I do still have to help with the slide. He already figured out its fun to put rocks down the slide too.
One last thing for today. Since I'm a part-time stay-at-home-mom now, I've decided to start being a better home-maker, cook, house-keeper, etc. (Man, that's a lot of hyphens for one paragraph!) I've always enjoyed cooking and actually am pretty stinking good at it (if I do say so myself... or you can just ask Libby or Moxi).
So, naturally...
I started a recipe blog.
