Well folks... after 11 months and 3 weeks of waiting... Elijah finally learned to crawl today.
All it took was the proper motivation - trying to reach the TV wires actually. Such a guy - always wanting to mess with the electronics. :)
Also... he learned to say his first "big boy" word, as I call it (not a baby word like "momma", "dadda", "dog", or "ball")! He said LION. My mom has those toy lions which he loves, and today she was just repeating the word over and over while making roaring sounds and showing him the toys. Then he just said it. I heard it for myself over the phone too. It sounds more like "Lah-lon". But sure enough, that's what he's saying. How stinking cute is that?
And another thing... he now "talks" to his toy cows by Mooing at them when he plays with them. So silly!
What a day he's had!
