This little cowpoke has decided he's done with breastfeeding. I tried to offer it to him when he woke up this morning but he wasn't interested, although he cried from hunger. I've been knowing this was coming for the past few days. When I've gotten home from VBS too late to feed him his pre-bed nightcap it hasn't bothered him at all. I'm sad to let this part of Motherhood go so soon. But he's just over 11 months old now, so nutritionally he'll be fine. Emotionally for me, not so much. Goodbye babyhood, welcome to childhood my Zekers.
