Blossoms

After several nice days of warm Spring weather, we're back to cool rainy days (at least for a while). I hate how fickle Spring can be in Indiana. But before the yucky stuff came back our way, Elijah and I ventured outdoors to check out the lovely things this time of year can bring.

Obviously, he is well accustomed to the sound of the shutter. He hardly notices any more when I photograph him. As he gets older he is increasingly difficult to capture. But here he is, not even thinking about posing for a picture.

If you don't watch him, he'll pick the hyacinths.

Yay! The grass is getting green!

Um, yeah. This gigantic tree limb landed on our side porch yesterday. There wasn't a bit of damage to our house or porch (it's concrete), thankfully. But it sure did make a loud noise. You can't tell from the picture, but its about 10-12 inches in diameter.

P.S. Elijah has come down with a yucky croupy cough and runny nose. He's feeling so bad he won't eat and even Elmo won't make it better. :(
