I took a walk when Elijah went down for his nap this afternoon, soaked in the beauty that surrounds us here, and the fantastic 75 degree weather, and snapped a

Does anyone else love the scent and sound of crunchy fallen leaves?
This little church is just at the end of our wooded lane.
Is there anything more colorful in the fall as a Sugar Maple?

AWESOME pictures!!
What kind of camera do you have?
I can't believe how grown up Elijah looks... must be all those teeth and his big boy hair. :)
To answer your question about windows- we got them from Home Depot, and paid a total of $2200. Jordan and two buddies installed them themselves, started at 10:30, took a lunch break, and were done before 5, including a Wii break. :) They were replacement windows, btw. We got basically the cheapest, most basic contractor grade windows, but they're a tremendous improvement on what we had before, and we don't plan on living in the house for tons of years (as industry will be moving this way and bulldozing), and plus, we just couldn't afford anything better and weren't willing to take out a loan or use credit. Watch the sale ads though, as the big home stores always have something on sale!!! I hope you guys are able to get some, and I'm hoping our cheapies make the difference we're hoping for!!
Oh, and I forgot to say, we have 15 windows, and four of them were pretty huge (36 x 66).
THANK YOU! I absolutely LOVED these pictures. Makes me miss Indiana so much! I could almost smell the scent of burning leaves and hear the crunching sound they make as I was looking at your pictures. Man...can't wait to be there in a few weeks.
And Elijah...he is getting so big! I can't believe it - such a big boy. I am looking forward to squeezing him and kissing him ALOT.
Love you and thanks again - these totally made me smile! :)
Love the pictures! So great. all of our leaves are almost off the trees...I love autumn, I don't know that I'm really ready for snow (despite my last post) oi.
You little man, is looking more like a toddler then a baby these days! How time flies!
