The sun'll come out Tomorrow!

Yeah, tomorrow is the BIG day. (Lord willing)
The buyers and their realtor came by the house early this morning to do the final "walk through" and Manny said it all went fine. They are also very excited and friendly. Their realtor, on the other hand, is a crotchety old fart to put it very nicely. He was extremely rude. Without even saying hello when Manny answered the door, he just pushed his way past him and told him he's not allowed to be there for the 10 minute walk through. We didn't know that. And with Elijah still in his p.j.'s he wasn't about to leave. So they went on the porch for a bit. He also never said goodbye as they were all shaking hands and exchanging niceties (like how happy they are to move in, etc.). I cannot believe what a gigantic jerk that guy is! The nerve! Anyway, I get all fired up just thinking about that ugly old man. I better change subjects...

It's about to storm like crazy here. The sky is black and greenish and the lightning is just about to start. Fun. I love summer storms. Especially because I have a wall of windows next to my desk to I get to watch it all blow by.

And my final story for today... I. AM. LOSING. MY. MIND.
Yep, you read correctly. I was walking to my desk from the break room this morning and thought to myself, "Gee, my right shoe feels a little more worn down than my left one. I wonder if I've been walking funny or putting more weight on my right side...". Then I looked down to confirm my original suspicion -- I did, in fact, have on two different shoes. Both brown sandals -- but one is a leather flip-flop, and one is a Crock flip-flop. The heels are different heights. The materials are not the same. The in-soles are different textures. How did I wear them for two hours before I noticed they didn't match? Naturally when I saw how stupid I looked I cracked up hysterically -- and so did the rest of my unit. This is almost up there with the "pregnancy Alzheimer's" story when I lost my cell phone on the refrigerator at work. C. Just wait... this will happen to you too. (At least I hope I'm not the only one.) LOL.

lololol, I can't stop laughing about the shoes:) That's so hilarious. At least you can look at it and find humor. I already have those sorts of moments, so lord help me if it gets worse with pregnancy:)

Glad to hear the walk through went well and the family was so nice--despite the crappy fart. What's his deal, anyway? He just got his client a house and he's gonna get paid? Maybe he just needs to "get him some" :)teehee. Oh well, I'm excited for you just the same. Don't let the fart get you down:)
