Elijah's house

Today = exciting.
We had the appraisal and the home inspection this morning. Right now we're still waiting for the buyer's response so I'm a tiny bit nervous. [crossing fingers]

The buyer (wife) came along for the inspection and while Manny was home she was chatting with him and asking some questions. She was telling him that they had looked at a few houses over the weekend and when they asked their kids (pre-teen son and daughter) which one they liked this is the reply...

"WE WANT TO LIVE IN ELIJAH'S HOUSE".

"Which one is that?", said mom, not understanding. "The one with Elijah's name on the fridge."

When he was born my mom came home that night and wrote his name, birth weight, length, time, and date on the whiteboard on our fridge. I've never erased it. They saw it when they were there and that's how they remembered the home.

I love that story and I'm going to tell it to Elijah when he's older. :)
