a BIG week for my baby!

He found his feet on Friday. He's thrilled with his new discovery. He pulls his feet up and grabs them, then rolls over onto his side and kicks.

Another new trick is that he can pass an object from one hand to the other and back again. I read that's something babies normally do between 6-9 months.

On Saturday night he finally did it... HE ROLLED OVER! From his tummy to his back. I didn't even see it coming. I had him on his tummy, reached for the lotion to put on him, and when I turned back to him he had flipped over. So, I called for Manny - who brought the video camera :) - and he did it several more times for us. (Until he got tired of it and started whining.) We were so proud. I think he didn't know what to make of all our applause and high-fiveing.

He cut another tooth yesterday - the bottom right one. Consequentially he was cranky all day! I finally ended up giving him some Tylenol, which seemed to help a little.

He also started sucking on his bottom lip. He sucks it in and out of his mouth making a slurping noise. It's so funny because this is something a bigger kid would do.

We got to meet baby Titus Friday night. He's so sweet and tiny. It's hard to believe my baby was ever that small, but he was. My, how quickly he has changed. I miss that wrinkly little baby stage. But this stage is pretty cool too. He's getting more fun as he discovers new things and learns to do new tricks. He's getting more active every day.

Manny and I also went on our first date in ages. We had dinner at Chili's after seeing Jared and Tina at the hospital. Then we got stuff to make rootbeer floats, but by the time we got home, fed Elijah, changed him and put him to bed it was late and I was pooped. So, we'll have the floats another time.

Manny is meeting with a new realtor this morning to sign a new contract. Oh, how I hope this time it works out. I am so tired of being let down by this house situation.
