on my own now

My Dad came up from Evansville Friday evening with my sister Ragon to spend the weekend. They just left a while ago, taking my Mom with them. She needed to get back since she had been here for 3 weeks (a week and a half before Elijah was born). But man, was I sad to see her go. She was such an amazing help to me this past several days since we brought Elijah home. I honestly don't think I could have done it without her. Not only did she help with him, but she helped with the house, laundry, meals, shopping, etc. And more importantly, she was here to give me advise, tell me I was doing O.K. when I was discouraged about nursing and all the rest, and help me feel like I half-way have a handle on this mommy business. Having her here was invaluable! We probably won't see them again for a few weeks so I'm on my own for a while. This is really a hard adjustment. I'm so used to going to work every day. Not that I'm complaining... I love being home with Elijah even if it is for a very short amount of time. I just don't really know what to do. I don't like being alone. I'm going to have to make myself get out of the house to visit friends and stuff. Anyway, we'll see how this week goes. I already miss having my Mom here. geesh.
