My first Mother's Day

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day - 83 degrees and sunny!! In the morning the guys brought in dirt for my vegetable garden and got it all tilled and ready to plant. Mom and I went to pick up the tomatoes, herbs, and flowers. Then in the afternoon, since it was too warm to plant the garden in the heat of the day, we all just hung out at our house and relaxed. Then went to a nursery and picked out some more herbs, squash, zucchini, and a really fun black/burgundy tomato plant (but I can't remember the name). By the time we got home we were able to get the plants in the ground and mulch. Everything looks so pretty now. I'm so excited about my tomatoes!! We only planted 4 of them, but those will produce more than we can eat anyway.

Sunday we didn't go to church because Mom and Dad had to leave. But we did have a very nice Mother's Day lunch at Bonefish Grille before they left. It's so yummy!!

Even though the baby isn't born yet - I'm still a mommy already. Baby G woke me up kicking this morning to tell me happy Mother's Day. :)
